the world has gone through another sex-change operation,
the six o’clock news excitingly report.
and i tipsily or rightfully don’t give a crap about it.
i could care less about the miracles of modern medicine,
about the world’s latest fad.
i’m still far from impressed, far from vouching for it.
talk about a troubled teen in his or her 80s,
the world’s always trying too hard to be liked.
